Mexico - Baja California Sur - Global Kite Spots

Wind season: November – March
Air temperature: 17˚C – 30˚C
Water temperature: 18˚C – 28˚C
Wave spots: Yes

Baja California Sur is a Mexican state and peninsula separating the Pacific Ocean from the Gulf of California. It’s a relaxed place for kitesurfers of all levels, with La Ventana and Los Barriles as the main spots. The season is fairly long over the winter and can sometimes carry all the way into the spring months. Wind can vary a lot in strength so bring the whole quiver. There are also a variety of top class surf spots, mainly on the Pacific side, if you want to mix things up a bit.
