Oman - Global Kite Spots
Oman on world map

Wind season: April – September
Air temperature: 25˚C – 40˚C
Water temperature: 27˚C – 30˚C
Wave spots: Yes

The Arabian desert nation of Oman faces both Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea, both of which are good for kitesurfing. The spots facing Gulf of Oman have similar conditions as the Persian Gulf and mainly light wind, whereas the Arabian Sea-facing spots, most noticeably Masirah Island can experience stronger winds in the summer. The stronger winds also cools the air which would otherwise be too hot for any type of outdoor sports.
