Oi, what was Feelgood Camp like then? Is that what you’re asking? Fair play, fair play. I tell you what it was like, innit.
Pushed back one week due to Brighton’s finest We Are Love festival, we ended up in August this year. Tell you what, that might’ve been a lucky strike right there. Tuesday to Sunday, six days, five days on the water.
Great mix of riding. Skanör, JP, Klagshamn and Nybrostrand. I mean, Klagshamn come on… Haven’t been back there since 2014 and damn, it’s a fine spot it is. Freestyle flat water galore. The riding this year was top notch. Always helps when the wind is just right for my 13m Juice because it’s my comfort zone kite that allows me to throw tricks I otherwise wouldn’t

Notice a theme in these photos? Part from Skanör we had the beach to ourselves! Fine conditions during prime holiday season, and where are all the kites? Mystery, but no need to solve. Happy like this. Enough people everywhere else.
Kitesurfing aside, I got to hang out with my bro and god daughter, walk around a castle garden, optimise my Hinge profile and eat a lot of Swedish sweets. Less deep shit conversations in the darkness this year. I called it out, but not in a bad way. I take it my bros are in good places right now and I’m happy for them.
Am I in a good place? Summer came to an end and I concluded it had been an amazing summer. I genuinely felt happy. But was I only riding the dopamine highs or was it genuine happiness? Let’s see.
