Lake Nicaragua, also know as Lago Cocibolca is the largest lake in Central America. It can be very windy and hosts a number of kite spots on its West shore.
If sweet water lake riding isn’t your type of thing, Nicaragua also has kite spots in the Caribbean with light wind and a season from December to August as is typical for that region.
